| The RFX-1500/2500 Wire and Cable
Locator is designed to trace and locate, all types of inside and outside
wiring and piping. |
|
|
The RFX-1500/2500 takes the design of the RFX Family of locators one
step further.
The RFX-1500 Transmitter can be connected to LIVE AC power (up to
220VAC) to allow tracing of live electrical circuits in the house, or
buried outdoors.
When connected to WORKING telephone lines, the RFX-1500 Transmitter
is totally Transparent. It is not audible on phone lines, does not
disrupt FAX, modem, or voice communications.

trace GAS and WATER pipes buried outside. |

| The RFX-1500/2500 is a
sophisticated RADIO transmitter and receiver operating at 455khz, with
two user selectable modulation Tones (600hz/800hz). And two user
selectable transmit modes (continuous and dual modulation). Continuous
Mode is used for Tracing and Dual Modulation Mode is used with our
PATENTED earth probing technology.

As it is Radio Based, the RFX-1500/2500 system has a detection range
of over 10 feet indoors, and can detect buried wiring and cables down to
3 feet or more outdoors.
The Printed Circuit Boards of theRFX-1500/2500 are Conformal Coated
to protect them from water and moisture.
The RFX-2500 has a headset jack for listening in noisy environments.
CCME has a Headset Model we recommend that comes with a remote volume
switch.
The System uses a "Null" mode Antenna. When you point the
antenna at the hidden wire , you do not hear the signal. This allows you
to pinpoint the exact location of a hidden wire or cable to with in the
width of the antenna.
The RFX-1500/2500 System is housed
in STURDY metal cases, and is supplied in an attractive plastic carrying
case. All units come with a 2-meter ground extender lead, and are fully
warranted for 1 year.

improve water and moisture resistance.

Tone: The RFX-1500 transmitter
has a second modulation source to increase you locating success.
- Large Carry Case:
the RFX-1500/2500 locator kit comes in a larger carry case. This
case has room for a headset , ground rod, bnc cable and ground
extender cable.
